Jaden Brito White was a Malden High Graduate CO’2020 who I had the fortune of knowing, Jaden has sadly past back in December 2020 from a fatal shooting. Jaden loved the game of basketball and would often play it in his spare time. To commemorate Malden’s love for Jaden an event was hosted in his name, where a free throw competition was held with winners receiving prizes. The event was held at Harvard Park in Malden with food and drinks being served. The event had members from the Malden community in attendance such as Malden Recreation Department Director Joe Levine, as well as Ward 7 City Council Member Chris Simonelli. Friends and family of Jaden were also in attendance who were in tears to see all the love Malden had for their friend and son.
